塔斯马尼亚大学刘红元副教授应邀到永利集团开展学术交流
2023年9月26日,应永利集团韩昊宇副教授邀请,澳大利亚塔斯马尼亚大学刘红元副教授到访永利集团并作为特邀专家参加了永利集团土木工程前沿论坛第一期学术报告会,做了题为“杂交有限离散元的开发与应用”的学术报告,韩昊宇副教授主持了报告会,土木工程专业教师、研究生共60余人参加了本次报告会。
岩石力学数值模拟方法中由连续到非连续的过渡一直以来都是热点问题,刘红元副教授在报告中指出,虽然传统的连续介质力学在解决岩石力学问题中有比较广泛的应用,但是无法解决岩石断裂造成的非连续性问题,而离散元在解决岩石力学问题中又受到计算能力的限制。刘红元副教授应用C++与OpenGL软件实现了连续与非连续方法的融合计算,开发了杂交有限离散元软件Y-HFDEM IDE。杂交有限离散元方法集有限元和离散元的优点于一身,能自然地模拟由于岩石破坏而导致的从连续到非连续转变,经过近年来的迅速发展,已经成为研究岩石破坏强有力的计算工具。刘红元副教授在报告会上着重介绍了其团队的杂交有限离散元算法和软件的开发过程、基于通用图像处理器的并行计算和岩石在准静态和动态载荷下破坏的应用。
报告人简介:
Associate Professor Hongyuan Liu completed his PhD at Lulea University of Technology (LTU), Sweden in 2004 and his Masters and Bachelor degrees at Northeastern University (NEU), China in 2000 and 1997, respectively. After that, he worked as a researcher associate at LTU for about 1.5 years to conduct several research and consulting projects on mechanical drilling and cutting funded by SGU, LKAB, SKB and Altas Copco Secoroc AB. In 2006, he moved to Australia and worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Sydney to undertake a tunneling project funded by ARC. In 2008, he joined in the University of Queensland as a researcher fellow to study tunnelling in weak rock mass and soil improvement using wick drain. Since 2010, He has been teaching geomechanics at the School of Engineering and ICT at the University of Tasmania, leading geotechnical engineering streams and teaching subjects such as rock and soil mechanics.
